The essay provides charts and statistical figures for schools including secondary and elementary, present in Washington City and NYC, and discusses the benefits of gifted education, and how urban programs provide high profile settings specifically for gifted students

It is an article on News Today by Mikel Peterson that describes the program of education for gifted and educated children. The article describes the gifted programs in different countries such as Denmark, Finland, Canada, and Japan. In Demark, the program for gifted children are “Mentiqa”, and it is founded by Pernille Buch- Romer the program is focused on methodologies similar to “differentiated teaching”. In Finland, gifted students have the freedom to select subjects according to their interests. In short, articles describe the importance of gifted education and the approach toward gifted education. 

Service education
The essay by Mikel Peterson describes service learning, and it is learning by experiencing the needs of society. The essay describes the six short steps for the book design and a summary of the steps are a donation of a book, tracking of book, reading of a book, and selection of a new book for next week. The last two steps are the information sharing of books in the club and neighborhood.

The one-page essay describes the program for raising a successful child who has low self-awareness and low self-esteem and provides a list of challenges that parents face such as nourishment, dressing, and education in raising the child.
